Mutoh DS3 All-Round HC dye-sublimation
Mutoh Europe's high-colorant dye-sublimation ink for coated and uncoated transfer papers and direct print on polyester, in degassed 1 kg pouches. Mutoh says it is designed for its AccuFine print heads and tailored to the XpertJet 1642WR and 1682WR, and the same leaflet (09/2021) declares it also compatible with the older ValueJet 1604WX, 1624WX, 1638WX, 1924W, 1938WX, 1948WX, the ValueJet 2638X dye-sub version and the DrafStation RJ-900X-U1. The European XpertJet 1341WR Pro datasheet and the documents on Mutoh Europe's XpertJet 1642WR Pro page name it as the printer's ink. Pouches need XpertJet ink cases or ValueJet ink adapters. EMEA only: Mutoh America and Mutoh Japan specify DH21 for the same printers. Succeeded by DS4 ProFlex.
