Who we are

Banco de Tintas is an independent catalog of wide-format printer inks, run from Santiago, Chile. For anything about this policy write to ventas@soportepublicitario.cl.

What we record on the website

You can use the catalog without an account. When a page is viewed we record one line with:

• the country, worked out from your IP address with a database kept on our own server (the IP address itself is not stored), or the country you chose in the selector;
• the language and the page you viewed;
• the website that sent you there (only its domain) or the campaign tag in the link;
• whether the device is a phone or a computer;
• the date and time.

We also record when someone presses a quote button and when a search in the catalog finds nothing, with the same fields. We do not record names, email addresses, IP addresses, precise location or anything that identifies you.

What we record when you use the ChatGPT app

When an AI assistant calls one of our tools we receive only what the tool asks for: the printer, printhead, ink or product text you are looking up. We record the tool name, that text (up to 80 characters), the approximate country and language the assistant shares with us (if it does), the name of the client software, and the date and time.

We do not receive or store your conversation, your account, your name, your email address or your IP address, and the tools never ask for them. The app does not send messages, place orders or contact anyone on your behalf.

Why

To know which printers, printheads and inks people look for and from which countries, so we can add what is missing, correct data and, later, show prices in local currency and suppliers per country. We do not use this information for advertising and we do not build profiles of people.

Cookies

The website sets two cookies, only when you choose: bt_lang remembers the language you picked and bt_pais the country you picked, each for up to one year. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.

Who receives it

The records are stored in Google Cloud (BigQuery) in the United States, our hosting provider. We do not sell or share them with anyone else. If you contact us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, that conversation is handled by our sales team and the provider you chose (for example WhatsApp, run by Meta) under its own terms.

How long we keep it

Visit and tool-use records are deleted automatically 24 months after they are made. Messages you send to our sales team are kept as long as needed to answer and quote.

Your choices

You can use the catalog without choosing a language or country, without cookies being set and without contacting us. Because the records do not identify you, we cannot link them to a person; if you think something we hold relates to you, write to ventas@soportepublicitario.cl and we will look into it and answer within 30 days.

Children

The catalog is meant for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
